This week we had the participation of a group of volunteers from Sincosoft, who visited the facilities of the Centro de Vida headquarters in Tocancipá. Within the framework of the “Connecting Hearts” program, which is being developed with the program, which has been developed hand in hand with the Union Project Foundation during the last year, they developed the workshop “Let’s express ourselves through painting”.

The members of this team of volunteers had the opportunity to connect their hearts with the children and young beneficiaries during the workshop, led by Dr. Lilian Beltran, physiotherapist of the foundation, with the participation of the workshop leader Maria Morales Arango, and the accompaniment of volunteers, interns from the Manuela Beltran University.

In this way it was possible to show creativity and art as a form of expression and learning where children achieved self-body recognition through relaxing music and breathing. Additionally, through this workshop we were able to reinforce manual coordination, sensory stimuli in an outdoor space, with the objective that each child will represent their emotions and communicate with the environment that surrounds them.

We appreciate the participation and willingness of the volunteers and interns, who during the day expressed their admiration and gratitude for being able to share a moment of joy with the children; to strengthen the “Connecting Hearts” program, we will continue working throughout the year with our great ally Sincosoft”.
