One of the most gratifying satisfactions of the volunteers is to be able to serve those who need it most and for our angel volunteer Carolina Diaz, it was not enough to put into action her desire to help in the program that the Union Project Foundation has for children, the Santa Rita de Cascia Home, but she gathered the resources to surprise the grandparents who are beneficiaries of the Maria es Madre Dining Hall with a delicious lunch.
On this occasion Carolina attended the soup kitchen located in the center of the city with her husband, Osmar Gamboa, who is also a volunteer of the foundation in order to bring 150 lunches with chicken and steak, providing not only a good source of protein for the grandparents but also their love and friendship.
Thanks to the generosity of Carolina and Osmar, volunteer angels of our foundation, more than a hundred grandparents were able to enjoy a delicious lunch. The will and the heart to serve others are exemplary actions for our society. “Volunteers in action we are changing the world”.
