In search of a job as a professional in the area of psychology, Marcela Cifuentes came to the Santa Rita de Cascia Home. She had every intention of putting her knowledge as a professional and specialist in clinical psychology at the service of others. During this search she found the Fundación Proyecto Unión, where she decided to donate her time and put into action her desire to help professionally as a volunteer angel.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are sacred for Marcela, who started her process three months ago, folding the children’s clothes, to come to support the processes that lead the area of psychology with the children individually. “The relationship with pathologies such as cerebral palsy and autism have been the greatest, since they are very enriching for clinical psychology, which was the specialization I did at U. del Bosque”, said Marcela.
Every day our volunteer program led by professional Daissy Muñoz strengthens the fulfillment of our mission to restore hope to vulnerable human beings. On this occasion we thank the goodwill of people like Marcela, who knew how to take advantage of her job search process, to enrich herself personally and professionally, as a volunteer angel; thank you for putting into action the desire to help improve the quality of life of more than 60 children, not only giving knowledge, but their whole heart.
