Three volunteer weavers accepted Ivan Lalinde’s invitation last October to deliver 63 beautiful blankets that will shelter and adorn the beds of the children of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home.
Foundations such as the Manta de la solidaridad, El taller de Pankracia, La Mina Adornos, came together to weave frame by frame, to form blankets full of heat, colour and love. In addition to scarves, hats, dolls made of scraps and even puppets, made by Natalia Mendoza.
Thanks to the weaving volunteers, Patricia, Marisol, Ana Patricia, Carmenza, Cindy and Ivan, for showing that united and willing desires can be fulfilled, such as that of caring for the hearts of children with diseases, this Christmas.
