Our doors never close, even less when kids who have been reintegrated into their families, but like in this case, still need delicate surgeries, and who we will always take care of during their recovery, to the families’ request. These kinds of surgeries that will undoubtedly change their lives were scheduled thanks to the management of our nursing team, under the direction of the chief nurse Janeth Bustos.
Sara is a brave warrior who despite her young age, keeps fighting at the hand of her family and our organization to live her life no matter the adversities.
Today at the request of her families, Sara is now at Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia, where she receives 24-hour attention from a team of health professionals. Meanwhile, Sofía is getting ready to take this big step.
Our mission of reintegrating more kids into their families gets stronger each passing day. This year 5 children we took care of were able to return to their families thanks to the teamwork of the psychological team, led by Mary Jaramillo and of the ICBF.
We are glad to be able to keep being the home that will forever welcome them with open arms and look after their health and wellbeing, always helping their new families..
