More than a hundred trees make up the “Forest of Solidarity” of the Fundación Proyecto Unión, located in the Nature Reserve Ecoparque Sabana of the Jaime Duque park; this space not only forms an environment for the recovery and conservation of biodiversity, but also pays tribute to all the angel donors who have been linked to our projects through their contributions.
Rosa Lucy Rueda is a very special benefactor, on behalf of her daughter Paola Andrea Gonzalez (RIP), and along with her friends Maria Elsa Ramirez, Jackeline Beltrán and Miriam Giraldo arrived this week at Los Angeles Life Center to plant eight trees on behalf of their loved ones who continue to lead them in their ways from heaven.
During the planting, they not only learned the meaning of each tree and its benefits in the forest, but they were able to express their feelings, connecting that special moment with their family members who no longer accompany them, but who made it possible for them to get to know and be part of our mission.
During the day, they visited the facilities of “Casa de los Ángeles” and the construction site “Hogar Amparo de Ángeles”, a place where more than 100 children with complex diseases will be benefited.
Rosa Lucy, Paola Andrea (RIP), María Elsa, Jackeline, Miriam and family members are already part of the “Forest of Solidarity”. You can also be part, this contribution allows us to continue building our dreams and at the same time pay tribute to those who during their lives become agents of change.
