A large group of ScotiaGBS volunteers arrived at Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia with the purpose of transforming the morning of the children who are beneficiaries of our foundation. Our volunteer coordinator, Daissy Muñoz, together with the pedagogy team, organized a series of activities so that everyone could interact with the children and raise awareness.
Among the activities they carried out and enjoyed with the children were reading stories, which allowed them to get closer and let the imagination of the little ones fly, others painted, sang, played in the park with the little ones and shared their joy and enthusiasm by giving the older children in wheelchairs a ride around the house. They also handed out a snack to finish filling the morning with energy.
Once the day was over, in the feedback of the activity, the volunteers expressed their joy of having been able to share this time for the children, their admiration for the work done by the foundation and their desire to repeat this great day, since this was their first experience as volunteers.
To the entire team of ScotiaGBS volunteers under the leadership of the “Action Team”, we want to say thank you for your great social commitment that on this first occasion, managed to positively impact the hearts of our children and collaborators, who enjoyed an unforgettable morning.
