Thanks to those who at this time of year decide to put into action this desire to help and join together their efforts to bring joy to other beings who need it so much. As well as the members of the UPA CC4-54 leadership team, who contacted the Fundación Proyecto Unión, set a goal and managed with friends and family to obtain resources to acquire building materials and move forward with the work of the Hogar Amparo de Ángeles, which will be the best place to care for more than a hundred children suffering from complex diseases and who do not have the resources, or family to take care of them.
As they planned, confirms Cristian Chaparro, captain of this great team, arrived at the Santa Rita de Cascia Home last Saturday, loaded with diapers, milk and even a computer. They gave an important donation and took advantage of the day, to share their happiness with the children of the home. The joy was transmitted in every corner of the house, by means of two musical groups that were in charge of animating the morning. On the other hand, the volunteers gave the children snacks, sang and expressed all the love and affection they feel for the children benefiting from the home and their carers.
Dr. Fernando Quintero, director of the Foundation, had the opportunity to receive and express his feelings of gratitude personally to those who committed themselves to achieve this great gesture of solidarity and distributed to them a letter of thanks made by the children of the house to their volunteer angels. Thanks to the heart UPA CC4-54 we will have the possibility to continue this great dream under construction called the Hogar Amparo de Ángeles and improve the quality of life of our children.
