“An unforgettable day was lived by the children of Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia thanks to volunteers from Save the Children, who came full of joy to share their time and affection with each of the children of the nursing home.
Working in favor of vulnerable children is the purpose that brings us together with Save the Children, who brought collaborators from different administrative areas to live this valuable experience.
Dancing, singing, and playing brought together the hearts of children and volunteers, who shared developmental and recreational activities, smiles, and hugs. They also had time to enjoy a nutritious snack brought by the visitors.
On the other hand, the volunteers also highlighted the important work of the staff and presented each one with a gratitude diploma.
“These spaces of transformation, love, and service, where there are no expectations of receiving anything in return, are second to none,” said Ana Maria Novoa, Fundraising Director.
