During this month of mothers, our mothers received many attentions and details, referring to all those women who are part of the Fundación Proyecto Unión and who daily give their affection and love to 62 children of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home, as nurses, professionals, general service staff, caregivers and volunteers.
Thanks to the generosity of organizations, friends and allies of the foundation who made it possible for all mothers of heart to feel very special through integrative activities such as participating in a Kahoot with our donor angels and volunteers from Microsoft, as well as a donation of a gift voucher for everyone to go shopping at Success. These were details that came from the heart and that not only motivate us to continue fulfilling our mission, but also strengthen the feelings of friendship that unite us.
On the other hand, for the celebration of this important date, our organization held a lunch at the Tocancipá and Bogotá offices, where the honoured women had the opportunity to enjoy some leisure time and their work was recognized while participating in raffles of the latest fashion trends of the Mira Smith boutique, slippers, elaborated and donated by our volunteer Karen Marcela P. and a delicious dessert donated by the Mimeti pastry shop.
This celebration would not have been so significant if we had not counted on the invaluable participation of these volunteer angels and donors, who decided on this occasion to include all our mothers of heart, those who every day, get up to give food, change diapers, give food, comb, bathe, care and love to more than 60 children of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home.
