Edenred Colombia, a branch of the French group Edenred, has once again demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of society by participating in a volunteer day at the Centro de Vida headquarters in Tocancipá. With more than 23 years of experience in the Colombian market, Edenred has worked to offer solutions guaranteeing companies that their funds are allocated to a specific use, positively impacting 45 countries around the world.
On June 26, Edenred celebrated “Ideal Day” worldwide, an initiative aligned with the company’s social purpose. On this occasion, an average of 55 volunteers gathered at the facilities of the Centro de Vida de la Fundación Proyecto Unión from early in the morning to participate in various activities for the benefit of children with disabilities and complex illnesses at the center.
The activities included laundry support, playful games with the children, walks, reading stories, cleaning windows, among others. These actions not only allowed the volunteers to disconnect from their work routines, but also to connect with a reality that often goes unnoticed.
“The work you do is impressive, you have had angels that have helped you to have everything you have and this is the result: very good human beings”, said Angela Mantilla, Human Resources Manager of Edenred Colombia, highlighting the importance and impact of the work carried out by the Foundation.
At the end of the day, the volunteers were sincerely thanked for their willingness and valuable contribution in each task assigned. Their generosity not only benefits the children at the Life Center, but also contributes to the fulfillment of Edenred’s mission.
