In times of difficulty, solidarity is like falling from the sky, especially when it comes to providing daily food to vulnerable human beings such as children suffering from complex diseases and abandoned, as well as elderly street dwellers who roam the streets of the capital.
Putting that desire to help into action was the decision taken by Sisters Andrea and Nataly Alejo, who joined forces to provide a full, hot breakfast to 120 grandparents who benefited from the Maria es mi Madre Dining Room of the Fundación Proyecto Unión. The commitment as a society for those in need was also evident by the ladies members of “Colombia en Marcha”, an organization that periodically carries out activities that call for solidarity to help the most needy, donating groceries to meet the needs of the children of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home.
The union of efforts makes it possible to transform lives. Every day our foundation rises to recover the hope of vulnerable beings and this mission is only possible thanks to the support of our donor angels, who on this occasion help us to meet the main nutritional needs of our beneficiaries. Today, more than ever, due to the current pandemic situation, this support is essential and motivates us not to stop and fight every day so that the children and grandparents who benefit from it will never lack anything.
