Since their last visit to the Dining Room “Maria is my Mother” in December, the members of the group of volunteers of the Bogota Tax Directorate, connected their hearts with more than a hundred grandparents beneficiaries. Therefore, they decided that not only at Christmas time they would be present, but also at other times of the year, as they did yesterday, providing a “lechona” and 150 blankets to brighten the lives of our beneficiaries.
On this occasion, we were accompanied by eight volunteer leaders who served the lunches and shared their joy with more than 150 elderly street dwellers. In this way we highlight the leadership that this group of DIAN volunteers currently has, who provide the foundation with great and constant help, reflected in the support to the children in vulnerable conditions and the elderly street dwellers beneficiaries of the foundation.
The signs of generosity received from DIAN’s human talent teach us that when it comes to helping, it is not necessary to have a special date, but rather spaces of help to return hope and joy.
