At Fundación Proyecto Unión we consider the work of a volunteer to be of vital importance, since they contribute their time to the fulfillment of our mission, contributing in different ways to the improvement of the quality of life of those who need it most. That is why every day the doors of the different programs open to receive them, this time we have the presence of Cisco at the headquarters of the Centro de Vida Los Angeles in Tocancipá.

CISCO, besides being a leading international corporation in technology, is an example of social responsibility through volunteering, where its employees can apply their skills and acquire new competencies, so with the aim of strengthening this social support, in recent days we received a great team of CISCO volunteers, accompanied by their families, who came to transform the lives of children beneficiaries of the program “Leaving Footprints”.

The volunteer day began in the morning in the company of Andrés Soler, Director of the Permaculture Process of our ally, the Jaime Duque Park, who supports us in the maintenance of the gardens, where approximately 50 people harvested and planted organic products that have been of great benefit for the nutrition of the beneficiary families; also, during the afternoon games, laughter and special gifts for the children, forged bonds of unity and joy in each of the participants.

This year CISCO’s social responsibility line was strengthened through its volunteering, which began virtually and ended with this great on-site activity, where once again they confirmed that they are true agents of change who are making it possible to improve the unprotected children of our country.
