Beatriz Fadul – Integrante de Colombia en Marcha.
Helping to meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable populations of the Fundación Proyecto Unión, is the goal set by the ladies members of the organization “Colombia en Marcha”, who for years have been supporting our cause and without fail, send fortnightly markets for the children’s home “Santa Rita de Cascia” and the Abuelitos’ Dining Room “María es mi Madre. ”
On this occasion, due to the pandemic circumstances, this great team of angel donors, organized last October a virtual bingo, to collect resources, achieving a great reception of participants, numerous prizes, but above all a lot of solidarity among the winners, such as María Claudia Samper Gómez, who decided to donate the biggest prize to the cause. “Expectations were exceeded, so we are already thinking about increasing the number of cartons for the next activity”, said Beatriz Fadul, member of Colombia en Marcha.
On the other hand, we praise the unconditional work of Don Luis Moreno and his family, who for years have been accompanying this praiseworthy work, donating their work for the realization of bingo, animation and sound. On this occasion, despite the distance, joy and hope were transmitted, reaching out to many hearts, who decided to put their desire to help into action.
A fortnightly market represents a great relief and tranquility for the fulfillment of our mission. Thanks to the team of ladies who are members of the organization Colombia en Marcha and to all the people who took part in this activity, making it possible for 62 children suffering from complex diseases and more than a hundred elderly people who attend daily to receive their food in our dining room.
