In recent days we had a very special visit to Los Angeles Centro de Vida, a place where dreams have materialized thanks to generous hearts that have been linked through financial contributions at different stages.
We have always believed that God’s will has led us to approach people who become agents of change, as well as Maria Camila Lugo and Martín Luengas who, together with their families, visited our facilities in Tocancipá; this couple of husbands are the daddies of Juan Andrés, a child who from heaven has been the guide for his family and inspiration for his mother, who weeks ago carried out the project “My Angel”, which consisted in the sale of a special edition of candles, where the foundation was selected to receive a significant financial contribution for the Santa Rita de Cascia Home and the Amparo Home of Ángeles.
We will carry the legacy of Juan Andrés in our hearts, so as an act of gratitude for his short and valuable life, we accompany his family to plant a tree in the “Forest of Solidarity”, a space located in the Ecoparque Sabana Nature Reserve of the Jaime Duque Park, where we pay tribute to those who have believed in our dreams and joined them. A beautiful shrub of red flowers that will surely attract butterflies of different colors when it grows, is what accompanies the plaque of Juan Andrés and who will remain forever, present in the Forest, as well as his name on our mural.
To Juan Andrés, who accompanies us from heaven, we say “Thank you!” and to the Luengas Lugo family for this act of love and for believing that together we can transform the lives of many children.
