When we sing we use our will to transform ourselves into music and expand that harmony into our whole being, it is also a means of connecting with hope and empathy.
That’s how last June 19, at 7 p. m. , we connected to the sound of the melodies with a social reason, of the virtual concert “A song for hope”, by the group of volunteers from Cenit, with whom we have already counted on several occasions, giving us their support through different events via streaming, a strategy that has become a great tool in the wake of the pandemic to connect to the world.
Approximately 100 people enjoyed during 2 hours the best Spanish rock, pop and salsa songs, performed by Bandaioca, the Club de Música de Cenit and the Dueto Nocturnal. Five auctions were also held, which generated a much more entertaining dynamic, which filled all participants with smiles.
Thanks to all those who, with their generosity and will, took part in this great event and to those who made it possible. The teamwork, the unity and the commitment of many people were able to transmit happiness to many homes, but above all to generate smiles, amidst the anxiety. We have understood once again that we can be light in the midst of darkness and on this occasion we were music full of dreams and hope.
