With the purpose of strengthening the oral health of children, sisters Daniela and Juana Pinto, from the city of Medellin, came to Centro de Vida los Angeles, where the program “Dejando Huellas” (Leaving Footprints) is currently being implemented, benefiting more than 30 children.

Daniela Pinto is a dentist by profession and got to know our organization through Daniela Duque, Director of the Santa Rita de Cascia Foundation, with whom she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Child Development.

During the visit of Daniela and her sister Juana, the children received an interactive talk about ways to take care of their teeth, oral health habits, such as brushing, flossing and going to the dentist regularly to prevent cavities and have a healthy smile. The children also received an oral hygiene kit that provides the necessary tools to start learning good oral health care habits.

Thanks to the Pinto sisters for visiting our facilities and putting into action their desire to help through a vocation of service to others.
