“Duván Ramos, 29, a construction worker, was born in Chía, Cundinamarca (Colombia), and he has been part of the great team of Dream Builders of “Hogar Amparo de Ángeles” (Shelter of Angels Nursing Home) ever since. His great commitment to the cause has made it possible for the works for the new nursing home for the children to significantly advance.
Duván uses his motorcycle every day to move from Chía to the facilities of Fundación Parque Jaime Duque, were the “Centro de Vida los Ángeles” (Angels Center of Life) is located, to contribute, with his hands, to build a dream. Even if he is staff of the contractors of CGM Construcciones SAS, a company that has supported the construction process for several years, since he first got to the working site, he has felt as part of the great family of Proyecto Unión.
Duván has expressed his gratitude to the organization in several occasions: he has felt welcomed, participated in different activities and received support from the staff in the different areas of this facility, which has resulted in not only building a solid work relationship, but also in a strong friendship which we hope will continue to strengthen every day.
Today, we will like to highlight the work and great sense of belonging Duván has, he who enthusiastically and with great commitment has left a mark on the nursing home, where more than 100 children who suffer difficult to manage pathologies will receive care and warmth from a great interdisciplinary team.
