“Aimed at paying a homage to the memory of her husband, Pedro González (R.I P), and fulfill a dream they both had, helping the children in our country, our benefactress Linda de González, together with a group of friends and family, delivered 8 hospital beds, 8 wheelchairs and 8 oxygen concentrators that will be an essential part for Hogar Amparo de Ángeles which will soon open its doors to serve more than 100 children.
Linda, who was born in the United States of America, and her husband, Pedro, “The love of her Live”, as she still calls him, met in Bogotá while she was pursing her studies at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. They lived for a while in Colombia and thanks to our Volunteer Angel Martha de Rojas, a niece of Pedro’s, they had the chance to learn about the needs of the beneficiary children of the Foundation. From that moment, they dreamt about helping these children and Linda, with her very big heart and generosity, made this dream come true by donating furnishing elements for the rooms of the children.
“Delivering these furnishings fills our hearts with joy and happiness and Pedro knows that his dream has come true” Linda said while delivering the furnishings during her visit to this seat of the Foundation, located in the Municipality of Tocancipá. Thank you to Linda and Pedro for being part of this dream that will transform the lives of children in our country”.
