On 28 May, a group of Sincosoft employees visited the Centro de Vida facilities in Tocancipá, as part of the ‘Conectando Corazones’ (Connecting Hearts) initiative. The main objective of this cause, promoted by Sincosoft and the Proyecto Unión Foundation, is to open a bridge towards true inclusion, uniting the company’s employees with vulnerable populations, such as children with disabilities and older adults in street situations.
In this first meeting, members of different areas of Sincosoft participated in educational activities that included singing, games, painting and inclusion dynamics. These activities allowed participants to step out of their daily reality and get closer to the lives of those who face the greatest challenges. The key word of the day was ‘inclusion’, an up-close experience that left a deep impression on all attendees.
For several years, Sincosoft has supported the mission of the Proyecto Unión Foundation, becoming an essential strategic ally for the development of programmes and services for the beneficiary populations. Currently, through the ‘Conectando Corazones’ initiative, we not only seek to have a direct impact on the lives of children, but also to foster a deeper connection between the company’s employees and this purpose, raising awareness and motivating more people to become agents of change.
At the end of the day, awards were presented to the three most committed volunteers who were able to connect their hearts with the purpose of the day. These awards symbolise the recognition of the dedication and effort of those who, by their example, inspire others to join this cause.
We sincerely appreciate the participation and willingness of this first group of volunteers, whose enthusiasm and commitment have been an example and an inspiration to all. We hope that every day more and more people will join the ‘Conectando Corazones’ initiative, working together to build a more inclusive and caring society.
