Today was successfully carried out the closing of the June rotation of medicine at the Javeriana University, by the students Catalina Ibarra and Wilfran Perez, who shared with us a training on Burkitt’s Lymphoma.
During the monthly rotation in our foundation, which is part of their internship, the students, who are about to graduate as doctors, put into practice their knowledge to strengthen the care of 69 children in the Santa Rita de Cascia in Bogota and Centro de Vida in Tocancipá through training and assessments to our children.
In addition, they had the opportunity to visit and care for street grandparents, beneficiaries of the programs Comedor Maria es mi Madre and Casa la Esperanza.
This enriching experience contributes to the awareness of future professionals about realities that affect vulnerable population and allows us to grow and improve every day our health care processes for those who need it most.
