At the Proyecto Unión we continue to affirm the dignity of all human beings living with disabilities. Likewise, we believe that everyone is called to participate in the growth of holiness and the sacramental life of the church.
In our task of integration and inclusive social development, every year at Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia we dress up for our children to live their sacraments, therefore, yesterday 2 children were baptized, 10 of them received their first communion and 19 their confirmation; their godparents, all of them employees and volunteers of the foundation, prepared and lived every second of the Eucharistic celebration.
On the other hand, we were accompanied by Father Luis Eduardo Pérez and the spiritual advisor Héctor Javier González, from the San Ignacio Hospital, who with their evangelical mission and testimony, made this celebration reach every heart of those present.
The sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation introduce us into the Church, it is the process of becoming a member of the Catholic Church, and from the Foundation we are fortunate to be able to accompany our children in this process and also provide the opportunity to evangelize each child/young person with different abilities.
