The same as in previous years, at this time, Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia transforms itself and this is possible thanks to the active participation of our volunteer angels, interns, teachers and the entire team of collaborators, who devoted great care not only to decorate every corner of the house, but also to create all the accessories and designs used for the troupes contest this morning.
The theme for the Halloween celebration this year were the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. As a result, young and old used scarves, wigs and wide boot pants, among others, to perform on stage. Additionally, each one prepared a choreography that demonstrated their commitment and pride of being part of this home. The groups of interns from the Iberoamericana and Manuela Beltrán Universities stood out for their dancing skills, and the skills of their teachers, that earned them the first places in the contest that entertained all of the attendees.
There is no doubt that joy, friendship and, most of all, the good attitude of each one of the participants made this into an unforgettable party for all the children and beneficiaries of the nursing home: they all looked very elegant when using their costumes. Thank you to each and every one who made it possible to have this celebration, as always, a great opportunity to join efforts, work as a team and share joy with all of the members of the great Proyecto Unión family.
