Love, fun and the joy of being able to share with those who need it most, are some of the characteristics of the children students of the Kindergarten Santa Barbara who periodically visit and support the Fundación Proyecto Unión. On this occasion, we began the month of the children, with the pleasant visit of 15 students from Prejardín, who, with the help of their teachers Mary Castro and Mali Espitia, gave generous donations, shared their time with the babies of the house and expressed all their affection on a poster created by them.
Under the leadership of its director Claudia Hoyos, the entire garden community, belonging to the offices of Cajicá and Bogotá, joins their efforts to manage resources with which they acquire milk, diapers, toiletries, food, etc. , which are part of the basic needs of the Santa Rita de Cascia Home and the Casa de Ángeles, where 64 children with complex diseases live.
At only 3 to 4 years old, the young visitors to our home expressed their joy of bringing milk and diapers for the babies, as well as having the opportunity to enter the room, where with a glance and shaking hands they expressed their feelings of friendship. Thank you to all the families and members of the Santa Barbara Pre-school community for their invaluable gestures of solidarity, which are undoubtedly a great example for the new generations in formation and for our entire society.
