For 20 years we have understood how good actions multiply, but above all how dreams can be fulfilled when there is a special purpose that will transform many lives.
Thanks to the solidarity of many hearts we have been able to advance in the different stages of our dreams in construction and materialize them in our headquarters in Tocancipá, where we already have Casa de los Ángeles and we are currently building the second and third stages of the Amparo de Ángeles, a home that will care for more than 100 children with difficult to manage illnesses.
As a demonstration of gratitude to our angel donors and allies we have decided to make a special tribute in the mural “Forest of Solidarity” of the Foundation Proyecto Unión, located at the headquarters of Casa de los Angeles, this same forest that is part of the campaign “1 million trees for our country” that leads the Ministry of Environment in the Natural Reserve Ecoparque Sabana del Parque Jaime Duque through the planting of trees and tree maintenance.
The inauguration of the “Forest of Solidarity” took place on August 30th and was attended by Dr. Fernando Quintero, General Director of the Proyecto Unión Foundation, collaborators, beneficiaries and our special guests, the angel donors Álvaro Correa and María del Carmen Rivas, who for 7 years have given their support to our mission, becoming an example of the goodness of God, who placed them in our path not only as agents of change, but as witnesses of a life transformed in love.
Each tree that makes up our Forest is an offering to the preservation of life and is planted on behalf of those families, parents, children, grandchildren and friends who once believed that their generous contribution could change the lives of many children, families and elderly people living in vulnerable conditions, thus becoming vehicles of hope to transform realities.
Solidarity, added to the will to help and the desire to transform lives, on the part of our benefactors, impulse us every day to continue dreaming. This is why we do not stop, on the contrary, we move forward ever more forcefully, sowing seeds of hope in our “Forest of Solidarity”, because we believe that together, with perseverance, we will soon reach them.
