In order to contribute to the solution sozial problems or those in need and receive satisfaction on a personal level, many people decide to volunteer. We have witnessed that solidarity commitment every day in the Fundación Proyecto Unión when children, young people, students, families and organizations contact us to be part of our program “Volunteers in Action We are Changing the World”.
Currently, the Foundation offers a variety of program for nationals and foreigners who receive induction and training to provide their services for the benefit of children with complex diseases and elderly living on the street. Every day our program is strengthened, that is how we receive the visit of four young students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Infant Pedagogy and Special Education from Los Libertadores, whom from now on will begin their volunteer program at Hogar Santa Rita de Cascia, supporting the care of 62 children.
On the other hand, professionals of medicine, pediatrics, physiotherapy, social work, law and graphic design, among other areas, decided to put their knowledge at the service of those in need and currently make up a team of volunteer professional angels.
